Looking to hire a pro fretter

Postby Nocktis » Fri Mar 13, 2009 4:52 am

Hey guys, I posted a while back about turning my bands songs into FoF songs. My band has been extremely busy with working on our new album and I've been unable to learn as much about fretting songs as I would like. Consequently, I'm not looking to hire someone to fret our songs. This project will include around 20 or more songs in all difficulties. This will be a on-going project that will take some time since we're still in the process of recording our second album and re-mastering our first but I wanted to get the ball rolling now. I'm shooting for having the FoF project done the same time our second album comes out (don't have a date on that yet). So if you're interested here's what I need:

  • Examples of songs you've fretted (more than one difficulty is preferred)
  • How long it takes you per song (average, I know each song is different)
  • What file(s) you will need from me to get started
You can either contact me through email, PM, or post here, however, email is the quickest and preferred method. Thanks guys! I look forward to chatting with you.

Your doing it the wrong way. What you should be doing, is post links to your songs (I personally prefer Youtube because I don't download too much stuff like that, dunno about others). If someone likes the song, there's a chance that someone frets it, but if no one likes it, you can keep requesting for months and now one will still care. If you get really lucky, things go similar to what happened to KillrBuckeye's song The Rising. Less than a week from it's appearance, four people had fretted it. If you don't get so lucky, maybe no one will ever make it, like I think will happen to Chinese Democracy.

Humm...well as surprised as I am to hear people may not want to be paid to fret our songs, ultimately getting the project finished is the goal. If anyone is interested please visit my bands website/myspace and check out our songs. I believe a few fans have posted videos of us on YouTube as well (just search Walking Corpse Syndrome). If you decided you want to fret our songs let me know and I can get you the masters. Hell I'm sure I could send you T-Shirt or something too, I just feel I should provide something if a lot of work goes into it haha!

Here's a few links where you can listen to some of our songs:
