Ions work with FOFiX. Kinda.

Postby Drummar » Sat Dec 03, 2011 9:47 am

Well i've gotten FOFiX Configured to my ions and the calibration is perfect, and i have a few songs, but there is ONE issue that is ruining this for me.
Note pickup.

Sometimes when i play a song, a certain pad will be temperamental. What i meen by this is, lets say im playing silent war. all of my pads work, but the blue pad will sometimes not pick up when played with other notes. if i play it on its own it will sometimes drop notes but not much, but when i hit it along with a red or a bass, or even both it will almost always not register. And this isnt always on my blue pad, its happened for red and yellow aswell. its not the pads as i play rb aswell and they work like gold, they're fine. Help? :)

I have an Ion kit myself. I had trouble initially configuring the drums just through Fofix.
Try using joy2key instead (google it). Allows you to convert joystick input (drums) into keyboard input.
So in Fofix, assign keys for the drums, and in joy2key assign the drum input to those assigned keys.
My custom songs can now be found in the one place:-Homerrulz Song Thread
