i did thats were i heard about it, but google isnt always a reliable source as it just searches documents. and the documents could have been posted by someone with incorrect sources....its been shut down.
use google.
i guess so..but since i only heard about FOF & GZ 2 days ago..i think im gonna be playin catchup for some timeGood god, are you ever out of the loop. It was shut down within 24 hours of the alpha release. That was way long ago. Several months.

No need to play much catch up. Search and read previous discussions about GZ on here.

GZ isnt dead completely, some are doing some slight graphical mods to the game. (gameplay has not changed, and will not with the current version)
GZ Guy see here is planning a GZ 2.0, which is a graphical mod with maybe some very slight enhancements (to like the menu, and such. Not gameplay)
He also mentions here that he may be working on a new source that may have multiplayer? Maybe its just a thought at this time, but it sounds like maybe somewhere down the road we might get another GZ, or perhaps some other Guitar Game.

Isn't there a way you could fuse GZ with FoF?
I'm not a programer in any way so I wouldn't know at all. but think about it; The FoF combined with the Rock-Meter and a button to get the multiplier. That would be the dream

I'd be fine with GZ just being redone from the ground up as a new program (call it GZ III, call it Guitar Rocker, etc... doesnt matter)
I dont know what tie GZ Guy has with what has been done in the past, but I dont care.
Anything new is welcomed in my book.
