Re: Black Ops
I'd really like to hear an opinion on it from someone who is actually intelligent, cause I've been considering getting it. I was somewhat disappointed with Reach's multi-player and am looking for something new that's going to last.

Says the one who forgot that tank beats everything.

Re: Black Ops
Actually Forklift beats tank, therefore Forklift beats everything. Your logic is flawed.

Re: Black Ops
Seeing as im slightly more intelligent then mechy.
I have played and beat the campaign mode, which has a great story, really captivationg.
Multiplayer is better then MW2. I played online for a good 6 -7 hours today and it was intense to say the least. (yes i know im a hypocrite, but my brother owns the game.)
My favorite and main class is my dual weild mac11 with dual weild pythons. I calls it "A-mak attack".

Looks like someone misplaced the tags in their signature.
That said, I'm not too excited to try Black Ops after MW2, though I do plan on renting it... at some point.

From what I know, EVERYONE had a problem with lag on the PC version, even on single player! My friend told me it got patched though.

It did suck, it did get patched. There's a small amount of people that still have problems.
Anyway, I'm loving the game. As amak said, the singleplayer actually has a really good story, and the multiplayer is loads of fun. Wager matches are awesome :D
To buy or not to buy (@aander): if you have $60 you don't know what to do with, and you are okay with or enjoy CoD multiplayer, definitely buy, this is a great entry in the series. If you don't like CoD in the first place, rent/download before shelling out the $60. :P

Re: Black Ops
Is it just me or do the explosions seem a bit too epic? (in a sorta bad way)

Re: Black Ops
I haven't played it but I've heard mixed reviews. Gamespot, IGN, and other online sources give it ok ratings, yet everyone around where I live says it's fantastic. When I get my PS3 I am planning on renting it to see how it is 'cause I've been wanting it for a while now. I played MW2 for a bit and it was ok I guess...That last one I really had fun in campaign was World at War eve though the GFX were terrible for all the systems. I swear the PS2 version of World at War (Final Fronts) looked exactly the same (as far as bends, curves, explosions, etc. go.).
Re: Black Ops
Yeah sure, there's people everywhere who are having orgasms over this game but that's to be expected. Even if the game is trash people would be doing that. People don't know any better to think that there might be something better out there than just cool gimmicks and badassery in video games. That said I'm hoping this game will be better. I've heard conflicting opinions with the whole storyline thing but the majority says it's an improvement, however the launch flaws are absolutely inexcusable. This is the first time I've heard about the PC thing, and half of the posts on Facebook seem to be people bawwing over the fact that you can't seem to get a steady multi-player game even on consoles.

Re: Black Ops
I just bought KOFXI, MGS2, and MGS3 for PS2 for $10 total so I think my game library is finally full enough to keep me occupied until the next CoD while not even caring about Black Ops anymore.
I got so sick of FPS games, they're so boring now and the only thing they boast is multiplayer, which tends to be exactly the same in all the games, just with a handful different weapons. I think that's why I've gotten so sick of racing games as well. RPGs tend to be the only unique games where even games in a series have plenty of changes to them with controls, characters, story, and battle systems. There's only a few more games that I really really want for PS2 and they're Radiata Story, Xenosaga I-III, Ico, and GrimGrimoire.

Re: Black Ops
From what I saw of Black Ops, it looks like a slightly modified MW2 then repackaged as a new game for a quick buck.
Probably not going to get this (I don't have MW2 either
