I'm not sure if this has been asked/addressed yet, but are there plans to support (non pro) keys charts? The main bothers with this mode is that all notes would have to be automatically picked, and gems would probably have to be allowed to overlap gems that are in other lanes, but it could be pretty fun.

Yes I am planing non-pro keys support and I'll also allow for a Guitar to play the keyboard chart too.

If you likewise allow a guitar part to be played with keyboard rules (no strum required), you will have added a cheat that FoF users have been begging for for years now. RB3 allows people to play with the keyboard controller this way, so there is a precedent if it makes any difference.

in a way i guess, but not necessarily rb3, when you play guitar or bass on keyboard it parses the guitar parts in the keys code, and for guitar the keyboard part gets parsed with the guitar code it doesnt add no strum to guitar

OK, I've managed to get the guitar to play the piano tracks without any effort at all. The piano charts seems to be identical to the guitar tracks and as such it's working without any special code using the guitar hit system. I've also just run the hit detection through the drum system so that struming isn't needed and that seems fine too.

Can't wait for the next version.

1 suggestion. Can you lengthen the neck a bit? When I lower it (to the 2 option) it seems to get incredibly short and doesn't give you time to see what's coming down the board before it reaches the strike line.

I was thinking about that too. It gets really short, like the fade effect gets lower too and doesn't have a proper proportional position (dont know how to say it :-/ ).

BTW is it normal to be able to LAN play with two different versions of PS?

Only when the 2 Versions have no changes to anything that would effect Online play.

It's a bit of a pain right now but I'll add it to my list.

Just a small -suggestion-. I know Vocals is outta the question by now, but can we have the scrolling lyrics on screen? at least?
Some friends wanna song along while playing band mode. It would be pretty sweet.

Yes, we are looking to display the lyrics before full vocal mode is implemented.

Thanks

I love the progress so far on PhaseShift. I hope all of you will keep improving this game at this pace for quite some time!
