No rebound would severely throw off your game though. I suppose if you only play easy or medium(and never want to get past that) and your really worried about waking people up then it's alright.

According to a pre-e3 review I read(I think on Engadget), they weren't working very well. Granted, the game wasn't fully developed yet, but still...

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

They should have you play with soft, padded sticks on a hard clear surface (ie. glass). The motion sensors underneath should hopefully be able to read through the glass. This would provide rebound and be less noisy than RB drums.

There's a lot more here.

That looks awful... at least to me.
The drums are awful. I agree with aander. This will probably die as soon as it's released.
Horrible design and horrible gameplay make a horrible game. Plus we haven't seen the Setlist yet.

I feel bad for Clapton, he unknowingly signed to a game that's probably going to be crap.

Okay, lets forget about this games hardware.
Why don't we look at this, without a stringed guitar too.
It's not as bad as you first think...
The drums mode sucks only because the bass drum is in the centre. If they chart the drums properly, like rock band, it'd be fine, really.
The POV... is not the end of the world.
Let's hope that the guitar is properly charted too. But then again, Guitar hero isn't charted very well at all, and people still flock to that,
The graphics really don't matter that much either.
One thing I really love about the guitar, is the line connecting the notes, It's a pretty clear sign of what note's coming next.
It's got a really powerful setlist, so the game will still be worth a play, I might buy it when it becomes $20.

Have you seen any of the drum charts? From what I can tell, they SEVERELY undercharted the drum charts (probably to make it easier to play on those crap drums).

And while you're munching on their cheesy wheat-y goodness, a person breaks into your home and begins to rob everything you own, because you have some ****' goldfish at hand, they smile back at you with that "Every little thing is going to be alright" kind of look and then you think they're some freaky-ass jamaican goldfish or something but then "Wait, goldfish aren't jamaican. They are canadian, which is why they come in bags." So you end up wanting to hang out with your rastafarian friend but wait, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS. So you end up trying to download the Bob Marley discography but wait, THERE ARE NO SEEDS. Then, when the clock strikes twelve, you realize that your goldfish are quickly running out, and you wonder to yourself "Do goldfish feel pain?" So to test this theory you begin to break them in half, demanding that they give you direct coordinates to the rebel base. But they say nothing, so you continue to munch on their cheesy wheat-y goodness. But what's this? THE BAG IS EMPTY!

Alone in your dark empty room, you crawl your hollow shell of a body to the darkest corner, and your mourn, you mourn the lost of your goldfish, and you ponder... should I buy another bag?

That is a ****' goldfish.

yes hard or lower but i still consider this a fail, they can't reach rock band 3 or gh wor, they simply don't have the experience. i thing turning fofix or phase shift to rock band 3 standards would be more succefull. (keyboard and pro modes)
what to do when playing plastic guitar or bass UPDATED

Spoiler:1-only slider tapping
2-head tilted to left or right or upsidedown
3-use a mirror
4-lefty mode+mirror, guitar righty, strange depth effect
5-jumping aroundn stage like yeah
6-scratch your balls and play bass, expert, Metallica - Disposable Heroes
7-remove the (gh guitar) neck for no reason during a solo
8-start button push when starpower button pushed during solo
9-faceoff, watch the opponent's neck only, strange effect, different difficulties=impossible
10-rape the whammy bar all the way. let the whammy pushed during the whole song (gh)
11-the batteries pop out
12-bass expert, long strap, like Rob Trujillo
13-use huge snow gloves
14-play muted sound ( 1 second delay during pro-faceoff isn't playable )

how to make fun of the plastic drums

Spoiler:1- 3 notes during freestyle: 2 sticks + heatbutting, or 4 notes at same time, i saw first at azuritereaction
2- hit 2 pads at same time for double notes (one hand) ^
3-deleted, post me something
4-do like him http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E
5-suck at 2-3 hard songs, then win Run to the hills EXPERT (i did that, only cause my pedal didn't work on first songs)
6-play guitar or bass notes when u got nothing
7-go nuts during freestyle or big rock ending using the buttons on drum control panel
8-play using only ABXY/ XOBT/ wii BUTTONS on the drum control panel, not hitting the pads the good way, whole song
9-batteries pop out
10-play lefty
11-if the stick is wrong , hit a pad to make it flip in the air
12-play crazy songs but fail to fc easy songs (i have no drum fc even if i can 5* master of puppets expert+ xD ,finished every ghm metallica song, expert, bad ghwt cymbals)
13-superfast stick bump under the yellow cymbal lol
14-miss the red pad, the stick hits the ground and breaks
15-during overdrive activation sections, fix something (fix the pedal )
16-use a chair with wheels rofl
17-play muted
18-fail every starpower activation in ghwt
19-use huge snow gloves
20-not being able to connect the drums on pc, let jurgen play, play ghost like

my rb character is a hollow metal ichigo
