My Axe Broke :(

Postby guitarfreak93 » Fri Aug 20, 2010 6:10 pm

So my guitar finally broke after 5 years of shredding. I know its not the craziest guitar you've seen but it was my golden baby :crying: Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know for no apparent reason. This is the first picture I took after I spray painted it gold.

Yes. It looks like you have an enchant on that, so you will require journeyman armorer skill. Also, which enchant is that? I'd like to know because it looks pretty cool.

How is it possible for you to have that for 5 years when the guitar came out in 2007?

It sucks that its borked but its only 3 years old.

He obviously used console to cheat create a powerful soul gem.

The guitar does look pretty nice. How is it broken? Just wires inside, maybe a loose strum part, or did the neck snap in half from you shredding to hard, because if it's just wires it shouldn't take too much to fix.

well i guess i was wrong about 5 years but i just guessed i've had it for a long long time tho. Since i made the op I've been messing around with it and it seems to be the wiring right where it comes out of the guitar. The plastic surrounding the inside wires got split and I'm not sure what I can do about it because no matter what i do it still won't come on...

I had a PS2 Freedom V and loved the **** out of it until I took it apart to change the whammy bar and somehow I lost the red button. If you get it for PS3 (which you probably won't) or PS2, take a piece of printer paper and fold it the long way for about an inch every fold, and then cut it the length of the fret buttons. Unscrew them and put the paper between the black pieces of plastic supports the button pad, then screw it in TIGHT. Put the guitart back together and then buttons should work AMAZING. I also like the blue backlight on the strum bar (PS2 version) and the 360 Fly function (PS3 verison).

The Xplorer gh guitar is the only gh guitar I would be sad over breaking.
I know because I have broken one before.
There's only a few "good" working ones around here. :(
I got a new one with gh3 for pc though. :D
Those are seriously like the best guitars around IMO.
