I was wondering if thier was any plan on building a song creator for phase shifts? Either part of the game or its own executable.

that was already answered... he hopes that he dose not need to, but if eof or some new editor dosent add support for some of the features of PS then he probably will

Also, I'm having an issue getting my new GH guitar working. The game is saying that it's not profiled or known, but the 1st post says that the Gh2 xplorer is compatible. I tried 2 different drivers to no avail. In the control panel, the controller shows as "Guitar Hero X-plorer (Controller)"

Any other drivers I could try, or should I profile and send you the log? I have another GH2 Xplorer that worked, but that guitar is all jacked up. This one is brand new.

Hi all!
This new release has support for Slider notes which can also be tapped using the normal buttons.
However, we are looking to implement the slider bar on supporting guitars.
If you have a Guitar with a sliderbar thats not listed below please contact me as I need to run a few tests before I can add it to the next release.
Currently tested Controllers:
XBOX 360 Guitar Hero WT
XBOX 360 Band Hero (Genericaster)

PS2/3 are needed most!

Thanks

I would map out mine but like I said, when it asks for me to push the green button. I push it, and it still asks for green. Never moves on to red.

Started up 54 and got this:
1 19:58:32 2010 - DirectX Reported Error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL - Invalid call
Mon May 31 19:58:32 2010 - DirectX Reported Error: D3DERR_INVALIDCALL - Invalid call
Mon May 31 19:58:32 2010 - ERROR:Could not create Direct3D Device
Mon May 31 19:58:32 2010 - ERROR:Direct3D Setup Failed
Mon May 31 19:58:32 2010 - ERROR:Sprite Load Failed
Mon May 31 19:58:32 2010 - Entering Main Loop

Pretty sure I've installed that front page stuff since a long time ago Edit: In fact I did, I just found the folder.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

Whats the poly count on that stage? I run it fine on default settings, but when it shows the full audience (cats) I drop to about 2 fps. Everwhere else I'm hovering around 35~fps

it doesn't move onto the red because you haven't selected with the mouse what button green is, this does not function as a key bind game menu this requires some extra manual steps to ensure the inputs are correct

does this happen if you switch the background mode to something other than the 3d stage?

i'd have to check but, its getting pretty high but nothing thats beyond any standard modern game but we are starting to implement customisable graphics settings to help on slower machines, there are a number of optimisations still to be made that will hopefully speed things up but for now just try switching to the low option as that reduces the crowd numbers, i guess we could also have a no crowd option if needed

I think you guys are still keeping up well though. My laptop is really bad, yet, I run it well considering I'm on a high res too. Mainly, I'm looking for a poly count so I can compare it with my current stage and future stages I make. I want to keep a base number for lower-end players, then I can make HQ versions of the stages for higher up people.

For the record, my specs:
1.72 Single core pentium
1gb Ram
Intel GMA 915

when im back from work i can give some numbers

some of the changes in the latest version we are basically turning the background.x into a level editor now, every mesh is exported to its own file then linked into the background scene with reference objects, this allows for duplicate objects without wasting loads of space and takes away a lot of the restrictions on animations so we can start playing about with more advanced character movements eventually

also starting to get event triggers linking to animation sequences, if you enable starpower you can see a basic implementation of this at the moment, certain meshes can be defined as sp objects with animation sequences to trigger when sp mode is detected

I noticed that too, which is definitely awesome. If you guys are going to be as detailed to have character movements, I have that planned out, and would like to talk about it sooner or later. I also have all the GH2 characters fully ripped and in 3ds max, but only one of them is rigged. That'd be something to play with if you guys want to test animations, just let me know and I'll send it.

Might still have her rigged somewhere on my hard drive, along with the Grim Reaper.

Completely rigged, thanks to Acedia.
