it doesn't move onto the red because you haven't selected with the mouse what button green is, this does not function as a key bind game menu this requires some extra manual steps to ensure the inputs are correct

does this happen if you switch the background mode to something other than the 3d stage?

i'd have to check but, its getting pretty high but nothing thats beyond any standard modern game but we are starting to implement customisable graphics settings to help on slower machines, there are a number of optimisations still to be made that will hopefully speed things up but for now just try switching to the low option as that reduces the crowd numbers, i guess we could also have a no crowd option if needed
