FRAPS Problem...
I have a problem with fraps, anyone know a solution? Before I upgraded to Windows 7, I could record a video using fraps and get about 18 fps. It was playable and I could record my charts with it. However, recently since I upgraded my computer to Windows 7, the most fps I can get is 4..... I have tried using half size, changing frame rates, disabling sound (then id just add in my music after) and fooling with settings. All I ever get is 4. I am using version 3.03. I find it really strange that this is occurring seeing as my computer should be faster with Windows 7... Anyone have any suggestions??

Have you updated your sound and video drivers? Using the Win 7 ones is a really bad idea with FoFiX

Re: FRAPS Problem...
Davidrawr is correct. you should not be using the standard drivers that come with any OS, not just win7. just go to the website of whoever makes your sound and gfx cards and get the latest drivers. thats should fix the problem.
Also 18fps is pretty bad. if you are getting that kind of frame rate you need to lower your gfx settings. as everything will look stuttery. to get smooth playback of video you need at a constant rate of at LEAST 25fps ( that means it should stay at 25 fps, if it goes up OR down while recording it will produce a stutter) you can record with higher frame rates, but again they need to stay at a constant number.
