June 8,2010 Is when its being released in the US...
I CAN'T WAIT
The 3 part harmony from The Beatles:Rockband is also in this, which should be pretty cool.
It IS a full game and the special edition comes with 6 more songs, along with the 45+ Songs.

Even tho they dont deserve thier own game. The addition of 6 DLC green day songs (with purchase of game) plus the import is rather appealing. But then again im still waiting for the RBN store to appear on the PS3.

So what is this thread for? Just an announcement? Well I uh...yeah. Does this feel rushed to anyone else? It wasn't announced that long ago. I hope this doesn't mean that they half assed it and pulled a Neversoft. I really haven't heard much from the staff as far as their excitement for it. I mean I really got the vibe that HMX loved working on TBRB, haven't heard anything about this.

Its a positive discussion about a new game for the people who actually like green day, such as myself.
Ill get this out there though. 21st Century Breakdown sucked. Hard, this is mainly focused on their older stuff, from American Idiot and previous albums. Which Are all amazing! (Except macy's day parade, that song sucked)

Green Day Rock Band will have like 90% of 21st century breakdown, i just know it.

Also, this game will be mehish on guitar mainly because it's Green Day, i mean at least the beatles had some challenging songs on TB:RB, but this will all be basic chord stuff.

If they have mostly songs from American Idiot, Dookie, Nimrod, and all the stuff before that, then it will be a good game.

I still won't buy it, even if my ps3 gets fixed. Why? because even though Green Day is a good band, there is no way it will be that good/fun of a game. There aren't enough fun songs by them to have their own game.

Almost all of that joke of an album is DLC, why would they put it on their game again?

I dunno, Green Day is surprisingly good overall. I hope they have Jesus of Suburbia or Homecoming on there. Probably not, but a man can dream. Might be a bit chord heavy, but they've got enough variation for it to be interesting.

Probably won't get, but then, I didn't get the Beatles RB either and I love the Beatles.
