GHM engine is the same as GH5 (but different UI). GHVH uses the GHSH engine

Uh what the hell are you talking about

GH5 uses the GH5 engine, everything else uses the GHWT engine

Every guitar hero game besides GHWT has expert+ and that's the only thing I can think of that would lead you to believe that GHM is on the GH5 engine but it has none of the features from GH5 so I have no clue what you are talking about

Well graphically they all use the same engine which is like probably modified from the GH3 engine

Without having played most of them, to me it seems GH:WT/M/SH/VH all use the same engine. The UI was tweaked (with the in-game star thing) between WT and the rest and that's about it (possibly the Expert+ thing as well).
GH5 is different entirely.
I thought it would be obvious just by looking at any screenshot.

Guitar Hero 5 -> Seems to like GH3 graphics (I mean the fretboard and the notes)

And yeah, the world tour engine was there until GH-SH.

GHM had WT's engine with a front hitwindow while GHSH had GHMs with a hitwindow extension. VH is probably a variation of GH5s engine. Graphically, GHM is GHWT with some slight fixing, while VH looks like GH5 with some sprucing as well. So I'd say VH, but after that I'd ask you why this thread even exists.
