I get this as well.


This happened to me when I compiled FoFiX on my pc with Vista and then tried to play on my friend's XP. It's related to the dlls included from the SO I think. BTW either 2.4 or 2.6 RC runs on my PC (I've Windows 7 RTM)

delete data/POWRPROF.dll and it should work

please add "MSWSOCK.dll", "POWRPROF.dll" to the dll_excludes list

thank you,now it works a treat cheers.one question i have set the tails to lightning in the display option and they work with the rockband theme but is there a way for them to work with worldtour theme,cheers

hello, download the latest version of fofix, to make two clicks on the exe I get a message saying "Could not find entry point in _excep_handler4_common procedimento vinvulos dynamic library of msvcrt.dll."

if you want to run fofix/py2.6 on a machine, which hasn't installed the MSVC08 runtimes,
you could copy Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest and msvcr90.dll to fofix's root dir and into the data dir
(it's an ugly solution though, i still prefer to install the runtime librarys globaly on the machine)

i just saw, that more files are missing in the binarys
(data: avatars, vocals, tutorials/drumrolls, mods/...)
why not distribute the whole data folder, instead of specifying every file/folder inside data?

the py2.4 binary doesn't work here (Microsoft VisualC++ Runtime Error when starting a song)



here are Windows v3.120 RC1 builds that should work:

How are the points counted on a long note (sustain)?
while at 1x?
at 2x?
3x?
4x?

I know it's 50 points per note, 100 points for chords, 150 for 3 note chord, multiplied by 2, 3 or 4...
BUT: when a long note is hit, the counting system is different, because while holding the note we gain some points, plus kind of a "bonus" at the end of the note (i think everybody has already observed this...)
how does it works? is it per beat? (X beats of the song gives you Y points)
is it per miliseconds? (for example: 1 second holding a sustain note gives you 100 points)

i would like to know how many points a sustain note gives you at 1x, 2x, 3x and 4x, and if it's counted per beat or per time

I tried downloading this, the pl2.6 gl3, and I'm getting an error when trying to load my song database, saying that the database is locked, and connection lost.. Any idea as to why this is happening, if I'm missing an install of some modules or something?

try to delete the .fofix-cache files in the songs folder

I try the new fofix. I think it dosn't worl because my ps2 guitar out of sync with the songs I back to the preview beta version.

ok i got rid of the 2 troublesome DLL's and it works untill i select anything from the menu, something pops up for a split second and the game shuts off. i found what it says and thats about it.
