my list of ideas for new FoFix...

1 - System to create bands, then it is possible to create the band's name, a logo type and the players (with a maximum of 4 players)

2 - 3D graphics, you can create a basic system of graphics, the game Guitar Zero version 1.0 has, I have here the picture pack uzadas (the graphics do not move, but if the staff does understand how to create new graphics will be cool ...) to give you an idea I've downloaded a pack that mimics the characters from Guitar Hero into a show, the only problem is that the graphics are stopped, but the camera is moving ... (this option would also have to enable / disable menu options)

3 - integrated browser, so you can connect to a specific forum for the game, to download song packs, themes, etc ... (which would also be cool if the downloads auto-installs).

4 - Support for GIF images in the navigation menus, if the game is already very good with images "locked" imagery with images in gif? (in this case would only GIF images on the exchange of menus, but then to end the animation of GIF, enter the menu ...)( true and this option would also have the option to enable / disable menu options)

5 - Online system to play, to make battles of bands, and play standard between players online. (and the host would be the creator of the room) (the room would have a maximum of 4 players and can also friends of a system that shows which friends are online and you can also call them to come into your room, and also create a band online).

1 - You can create characters, but what would the point of making a band be? (Serious question, by the way. I'm not trying to shoot you down, just get more info).

2 - 3D graphics have been requested many times and probably will not happen for a long long time. Video backgrounds however are in the works, and could allow you to simulate having moving 3D objects in the background (you could probably do this with current animated stages too)

3 - Most likely won't happen. There is an idea floating around of making a sort of song database you can connect to in-game (viewtopic.php?t=39923), but not an integrated forum browser.

4 - GIF sucks. There's may other ways to bring animation to menus, such as small groups of pngs (or mngs for that matter). When video background support is done, this may be able to apply to menus at some point as well.
Also, the current imaging library does not support GIF animation.

5 - There are many ideas of ways of implementing online play all over these forums. The FoFiX devs are tentatively looking at getting some of that started in the not-so-distant future. (Don't start holding your breath yet)

1 - Bands would be a fun thing to do once we set up a multiplayer career mode. Also it would come in handy if we ever plan on doing a touring mode like Rock Band has where you go to other cities and play gigs. I was talking awhile back ago to add a fans system as well like Rock Band since I really like that feature. It might be something that will get added to 4.0.

2 - It probably wouldn't be too hard to get 3d stages working, it's just tons of extra code and the current 3d graphics decoder we're using doesn't support animation so it'd just be static 3d graphics.

3 - If you have internet in the first place, what's the point of having a browser built into FOF. Since there are so many places where you can download songs, having a database in it would probably become outdated quickly because not everyone will use that database and not everyone's songs will be detected by the all seeing song gods on FOFFF. If you want songs then just type FOF songs download into google.

4 - I agree with death.au that .gif sucks. It only supports 16-bit when this game is made more for 32 bit (8-8-8 color 8-alpha). If PIL gets support for .apng some time or another and gimp is able to easily export into that format then maybe animated images in game will become popular because it will be easy to make. Remember, the easier it is to make, the sooner you'll get it because it'll most likely also be easy to code.

5 - We've been trying to get online play working and while progress has been made, don't get too estatic, it's no where near complete or stable yet, or functioning for that matter.

i'm searching how to play career mode in multiplayer, can't find it..
i'm already create the career, but i think it only can be played on solo mode?? coz when i try in multiplayer, all the songs are unlocked ( it should be locked).
is there any code put in the song.ini to make it locked?

There is multiplayer career yet, so I don't think you will find it.

what i would like to see

1. - the ability (like in GH:WT) to be able to fret something by just playing along to an mp3 with the keyboard. (yeah i know u can do guitar tap in eof but lets face it it would be nice to not have to quit out of fofix after every adjustment)

2. A 5th button for drums option, like in GH:WT

3. an open fret, just have it be like the bass drum in the drum mode, (ex :so u have 5 buttons as always but instead of cramming one more button in to the fret board, have it just be a different color that is on the board horizontally like the bass drum in the drum mode)

4. Drum fills (if there already are tell me how to do them)

You can do drum fills already (for songs that have them charted). They work like Rock Band ones, in that you use them to activate star power. There's also Big Rock Endings for all instruments (again, if they're charted)

I think you misunderstood what I meant. As long as there are drum fill sections charted, then once you have enough overdrive, a drum fill section will appear at some point where you play whatever you like.

is this easy to do or does a mod already exist for 5 button and bass drums?
