i play shiny gold occasionally by that Zel guy... its good.

I actually have shiny gold on GBA, along with a bunch of other hacks. Quartz i really fun. HeartGold and SoulSilver give me A reason to save my money :D But if they can follow you around, does that mean if you pick Cyndaquil you'll eventually have a Typhlosion following you?

I guess... Not much is known at the moment. I'm hoping the following around thing is optional (as in, you don't have to), and I would really like it if you could pick any pokemon on your party to follow you (but I doubt that will happen... nearly 500 pokemon, times 2 for shinies, times like 4 for walking sprites, times another 4 for each direction... that's a lot of sprites)

Yeah, they're real. Recently been announced on... Some weird Japanese thing I saw a clip of. Apparently your starter can follow you around like pikachu in yellow, hence why I was reminded of it. Other than that, based mostly on the Diamond / Pearl engine, like Fire Red / Leaf Green were based on Ruby / Sapphire.

Holy freaking crap. You have no idea how happy that makes me. :D Gold and Silver were, IMO, the best pokemon games they made... I couldn't get in to Diamond & Pearl (hence my NOT owning Platinum)

It could be like the park in hearthome city where only CUTE pokemon can follow you

and shinys, I have a shiny kabuto and its only green when you select it for info, so it might not be shiny if it follows you.

In platinum, they let you take your starters (as well as the cute ones).

NOTE: In Pokemon Yellow, you can get Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan from the Dojo without catching them :D

The most excited i ever got over a video game was either the first screen shot of Zelda:TP or when they remade Red and Green. These Gold and Silver remakes top both of them.

Gold was amazing :D I got it at XMas and my best friend across the street got Silver and we went crazy for like a month over it. How long ago was that? Damn, I lived in New Mexico... so after Texas... before Turkey... I was 7 :D
