What notes type do you enjoy playing most?

I really love the GH notes, they're very comfortable and natural, especially for HOPOs.
I do believe the RB notes train your accuracy better but I rather play GH-notes games than RB-notes.
I've had my experience with RB notes but it's less enjoyable to progress while playing them.
This poll is meant to determine what game do you enjoy playing more, without considering the songs and controllers- just the feeling of the notes to you.
So- what notes type do you enjoy playing most?

And of course- why?

Definitely RB style, or for that matter any rectangular shaped notes. Especially on the consoles it's a lot easier to notice if the setup needs calibration.

wow I'm surprised nobody plays with the GH notes
@ therude: I don't understand the advantage of RB notes; what do you mean by calibration?

Well a lot of time when I go to friends' houses to play, most of them have never bothered to calibrate their audio/video delay. So the notes may be a quarter beat ahead or behind of the audio track. This sort of delay/lag makes it unplayable in my opinion, especially when playing drums. If I can't play to the beat of the song, I'm better off muting the game and playing by sight only.

I know RB has a built in calabration tool to optimize setups, but I've found it works some of the time. To really make sure the delay is correct, I need to see the notes pass through the strum bar. Rectangular notes really help here. With circular notes (ala GH) there seems to be some ambiguity as to when the note actually passes through the strum bar.

Gotta love right angles man, either it's there or it's not.

I alternate. Sometimes I like RB notes, other times I like GH notes.

Rock Band and Guitar Hero notes are my favorites, I do play better with Rock Band Notes, however.

I don't have that much experience with RB notes but I'm pretty sure they lower my performance and demand more precision.

RB notes. They don't determine how your hit window is, your hit window determines your hit window :P

lose the tension in my throat, and live for something.

RB although I've never played the actual games; only guitar hero games.... but I still prefer the look while playing.

RB notes for me as well. I just like the way they flow down the neck better. Nice solid look, simple and effective.

i can barely see RB notes, but on bigger screens they look good and clear. GH notes all blend together since neversoft took over, but they still look good no matter what. No major preference

---- EDIT ----

Oh no please don't sig quote me :scared:

<@away_xbox> Diffuse the timer by cutting the correct wire. There are 14 wires. They are Green White Peenus Indigo Black Gold Grey Brown Violet Turquoise Teal Magenta Mauve and Yellow.
<Amak11> oh really
<Belisario93> hmm
<Amak11> !cutwire Peenus
<@away_xbox> ...snip....
<@away_xbox> Amak11 cut the Peenus wire. This has defused the timer on the TNT! Just try and get it off you without setting it off, ok?
