Thanks a lot, I'll do all that in a sec. Are you suggesting that'll fix this theme when updating or simply to use it on FoFiX?

Re: Guitar Hero III Theme 3.20 -=[For FoFiX 3.10+]=-
Honestly, i would say yes about 90% of the time, PROVIDED your SVN is set up properly. Since a lot of the time anymore that new stuff mostly requires FoFIX changes to finish, and so when i add stuff (mostly now, but not always) it's using something newly coded in the SVN, and if your not using SVN, it could cause a crash. But if everything is set up right, both with the SVN theme, and SVN FoFiX, it shouldn't crash at all, but if it does, it should be crashing on everyone's machine, since we would all be using the same source of both.
Everything on the Wiki FoFix tells you how to set it up, and all the required module's to download even. You can click on the FoFiX link in my signature. It points to the site now, since FoFiX thread here is stickied i thought that would be better.

Well, if you need some tips regarding what could be changed, I'll tell you some stuff (some of them I've mentioned to K.I.D to the RB2 theme as well):
1 - Only today yesterday I've reset a career, so only today I saw that the "Are you really sure you want to..." text is being overlay by the options "No" and "Yes". The "ideal fix" was to, besides correcting the text position, change the current background into another background (if that's possible). One like a warning sign...dunno.
2 - The Credits background...well, it ain't the GH3 original Background, is it possible to change it?
Now go and make revision 14! LOL!
Thank you for everything you've done so far (FoFix development and GH themes).
Hasta!

Sure, i like idea's.
1-I haven't noticed the Reset Tier function, never used it yet, but very good point. I don't really play FoF much to progress, just GH3 and now GHTW on xbox360, mostly just work on the theme til it's the same. I don't have any control to show another screen or such with that in mind. And i don't have position control either. I'm sure MFH might be interested in that idea to display a box behind the text so it's easier to see. Or i could look at the code ( i know where it's at), and look into an agreeable solution though.
2- Good idea about the credit screen, unfornately also it doesn't have a separate screen. That screen is shared by the options screen. I know i am using graphics menu's in option, but since I still need the screen for use with the sub-options menu, i can't do that currently. I'll peek at the code and see if it's something i can do though. Possibly not.

I'm still getting the same fncken' error when updating through SVN, and I maintain that's it's something from your end. Someone else had the same error too, and it's not like I have anything else which would clash with this, I mean, it's a theme, not even a standalone program or anything

Re: Guitar Hero III Theme 3.20 -=[For FoFiX 3.10+]=-
I got no clue when it comes to all this 'SVN' stuff. I'm guessing it's a efficient way to update stuff? Is it available for mac?
PS - Can't you update a theme simply by downloading the hotfix, and copy and pasting the new updated things making, them overwrite the old ones? That's what I have been doing and it works fine..

SVN (subversion) is a way to update programs, in this case the theme, to the very latest revisions (updates). Most of us use a program called TortoiseSVN, which automatically updates the theme within your computer. It saves you having to apply patches yourself and the author from having to post every single update. Though this is really convenient, it's not always the safest option, that's why not every update is released, and stable versions are
Yep, that's what a hotfix is, a small update which overwrites/adds/updates files

Yes you can, although updating a folder through SVN it's much more faster, simple and...err...COOL!

That credits thing? Put a credits.png in the menu folder. It's auto-scaled. There are more details, but I'll save that for when I next see you online. For now, insomnia! And work! Hooray!

Worldrave, sorry to bother dude, I appreciate all your work and I really wanna use this theme,
but for my sake, could you check out the FretButtons.png on the SVN repository? I really think that that's the file causing my error
It seems to have capitals on each word and for some reason it's at the very top of the list, not alphabetically. Even during the next revision, could you do something as simple as re-uploading it with a different name? Sorry again

Hi Worldrave, I've noticed 2 little things in your theme (of course amazing
):
- bpm_beat.png and bpm_halfbeat.png shouldn't be inverted? (with beat bigger than halfbeat)
- fretbuttons.png has yellow fret 1 pixel down respect to the others so when pressing it it "jumps" (i've tried moving it up and now it looks perfect)
Hope being useful...

Re: Guitar Hero III Theme 3.20 -=[For FoFiX 3.10+]=-
I am just baffled why it's not throwing that error for everyone that is using the svn, which theoretically it should if it's something done on my end, and it's not. If anyone has any reasonable things to try i will, things like at the top of the list and such makes no difference. I removed the file, and separately added the file again. Hopefully that will work.
I have checked with at least 3 people using my svn, and they said it's working fine, so that leaves out something being done on my end at least. I am up for still helping out, but i can't think of anything else to try. Sorry. I will fix the pixel up when i get home, no problem. And also add a new credit screen thanks to Akedrou adding code to support that now. And of course the bpm stuff. Yes that is useful. Thanks.
