hey im using r1086 and have been getting the following error when starting to practice a song on drums, selecting end song, changing the speed and practicing again. the game crashes the first time i hit the drum kit with the following error:

Problem: Guitar part is being played at the wrong speed.

It's at .75 or .50 while the rest of the song is full speed.

Any help?

EDIT: Practice works fine, I think it might be because .75 is at the top of the speeds list?

Do we still have the animated stage feature? Or did you take that out?
Also what chart editor allows adding BREs?

Animated as in frame by frame animation or beatsynced like in default fof?

I think EOF allows BREs, I can't think of any other editor that would have this feature (all other chart editors are rather old). In worst case scenario, I'd be willing to add it for you (mark where you want it to be with a 5 note chord and email to me (I think my mail is visible on my user profile page)).

There's not much to go by from what you give unfortunately. How does your game folder look, is there a FretsOnFre.exe.log?

I mean frame by frame all it says is Stage Rotation: [Random]/ Default/ Blank it doesn't ask for the folder or anything.

And I don't think EOF supports it yet, it is supposed to in the near future. And that's not necessary, I can wait. :D

Well i downloaded 3.100 extracted it to Desktop. and tried to press Fretsonfire.exe, and that message came up.
In my data folder, only things i have added is a songs folder, and two themes.

My mistake my lyrics display problem was corrected by poking around in the OPTIONS menu.

LMAO! really? that musta been when my issue was accepted, that was when rhythm tracks wouldn't end at the right time and would play on for 2 more mins.....so it was scripted so that all tracks end at end of point.......

umm i played a song and the menu and stars places look a lil messed up..

I increased my buffer and it was fixed, sooo...

I can´t find the manual fretboard-speed settings, did you remove that?
In old FoFix i play at 270% of normal fretboard-speed. But in the new quicksettings, when I choose pure speed the notes are still to close to each other in fast solos making them impossible to decode for me.

Edit:
Never mind. Pure speed seems do do the trick nicely. Although i miss the option to be able to raise it manually. Kind of a challenge to that too, a bit like racing.
