Well,

I say we all just start gathering our links, dump them together and sort them out..... What do you say?

Maybe we get can Winter to be a Database Tech? It would also be eaiser for us if they made a Drum section in Tune Posting so we could find and add the songs to the Database easier.

I like the idea... after all, there are more guitarists and bassists than drummers. Makes me feel lonely...

If we started a Wiki, it would be like all Winters work went to waste.

That would be the worst reason for not doing it. The wiki is not meant to replace the forums but to be a tool working with them. A lot of information is already on both the forums and the wiki and nobody feels like they wasted their time. One can see the wiki as the "coop posts" some people requested. And anyway, the topic you're talking about is mainly for songs, the subforum requested here would be about more than just songs.

I would have to agree with that.
I do put a lot of work in to the thread, but by no means do i wish it to be the be all end all.
Even if a wiki where to go up i would still be doing the same thing with my thread as i have been. The more sources the better.
Besides i can do other things with my thread such as the star rating system we have and more.

I love the idea of a sub forum though. Sounds cool.
Not only for drummers but for bassist, guitarists, and what ever else.
