Sub Forum for Drummers Only

Postby KillerQ » Tue Jan 06, 2009 9:08 pm

Hey all,

I've been a drummer for over 15 years now, and I recently got the Ion Rocker kit... That has made my obsession with drums on FoF even Greater! I think it would be great to have a Drummer sub forum for those who primarily use FoF for Drums.

It would be easier for us to discuss drumming in FoF and keep updated on the latest drum songs and drum fixes (such as possible drum fill support - thanks MFH!).

Any thoughts?

Rock On,

Matt!

I'm happy with my Ion Rocker kit and Roland KD-8 double bass kick trigger!

I am a real-life drummer, but I pwn at rock band drums! A drumming sub forum would be cool!
Can we get this forum going again?

That would just make my day!

I just recently got real drums, and I'm getting RB2 soon (100 bucks to go, lol). I also fret a lot of drums.

A word from a guitarist/bassist:

Maybe, instead of having only a drummer section, go ScoreHero and have subforums for each instrument, and maybe even Keyboards and others like Encyclopediae Metallum?

But, then we'd have to make a section for guitarists. It doesn't make sense, although I could see a tiny drum posting sub forum in Tune Posting.

I would do it, but I'm not sure if 'ru will be cool with it.

That would be great. Drum tracks can be hard to find. Also is MFH working on support for drum fills cause that would be awesome.

Well, we wouldn't really have to make a section for guitar because that's what 90% of the people fret anyway.

What about bassists??

Well. I don't think this is needed, as an Admin myself I feel people won't be happy with a forum especially for drums.

Although, I'd use this if it happened.

What would make people UNhappy if this was created? If they don't 'like' it, then they just won't go in. I wouldn't be mad if you made a violin section, so....

Also, no guitar forum needed this IS a guitar forum....

I don't know how to put it into words but I can put:

I don't like the idea. End of.
