Kinda long title...
Anyway, I was wondering if there was a way to connect my Xbox 360 guitar controller (the World Tour one) to my computer so I can use it in Frets on Fire. Anyone who knows?

Re: Guitar Hero World Tour Xbox 360 Guitar Controller
First, Is the controller a USB controller? If yes, just put the usb in and download xpadder Because there is a glitch that the guitar controllers can't altstrum in FOF. I think you need a certain kind of driver (Whatever that is) also. Then, map your keys and your done!
I t is not a USB controller, Well... I can't help you on that one.

It's not an USB controller, that's pretty much the biggest problem, but thanks anyway. Anyone else knows something?

You will need the Xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver in order to use the guitar, remember to get the drivers from the microsoft website, and configure the key settings in fof.
It's called "/******READ THIS POST BEFORE POSTING IN THIS SECTION!******\" for a reason.
This is assuming it's wireless, of course.

Ok, thanks. Yeah, should probably have read that post first, but I was in a bit of a hurry and didn't really look around much.
Re: Guitar Hero World Tour Xbox 360 Guitar Controller
the answer to your question is yes you can use the wireless world tour guitar with frets on fire, i do and it works great!
this is how you do it:
1. get a wireless gaming reciever for windows from most retailers (ie. best buy, gamestop, walmart)
2. download joytokey, a simple program you can use to bind joystick or game controller buttons to keboard or mouse commands, you can google it or send me a email at [email protected] and i can send it to you if you prefer
3. use joytokey to bind your guitar to the frets on fire keys, or i can just send you my premade configuration via email as well. (it is kinda tricky to get every function of the guitar to work, so email me and ill just send you my config... it uses all the features just like on the xbox 360... including the tilt sensor... but the whammy bar sets to autofire when held down because of how it is used in frets on fire)
I hope this helps!!!!! let me know if you have trouble.
