Notes too close together
Is there a way to space notes on FoF further apart? When playing songs that are very busy, notes seem cluttered together and I can't comprehend what to do in real-time. I mean, I'll confuse two different notes on different lines as a chord on the same line. Is there a way to make it like on GH where notes are decently spaced apart?

Re: Notes too close together
Depends on your mod. If you're using stock FoF or RF-mod, you can increase a song's BPM. If you use MFH Mod/FoFiX, you have to increase the board speed. You can find the board speed in Options -> Advanced Settings -> Fretboard Settings, mess around with the board speed and speed percent to see what suits you :)

For the BPM, does it have to be an individual song? Or can you mess with the settings so it works for all songs?

Yeah, that's the thing, you'd have to change each song's BPM individually. You should switch to FoFiX - not just for this, it's better in so many ways :)

Re: Notes too close together
And messing with the tempo would generally throw the notes out of beat sync with the music.
Re: Notes too close together
Wait, FoFix has the song editor built in? I'm looking all over this thing and can't find it anywhere, so I've been using the stock FoF editor. Am I missing something here?

Re: Notes too close together
I have heard everybody say FoFiX has the editor removed. Use EOF or Feedback instead, they're much better.

Heh, guess I arrived at this scene a little too late. Just set up EOF and it's definitely got the flexibility I'm looking for. Awesome.

Re: Notes too close together
The built - in editor is removed because it uses .PNG(the notes). That's why it's been removed. It would crash.
