World Starpower Chart
I apologize for asking a question that's probably been asked a lot already - or maybe I'm blind or stupid - but where can I find the World Starpower chart?

Re: World Starpower Chart
As there are several problems with the databases, web site, and otehr things, is there any way to contact the managers of the World Starpower Chart?
I have to ask them something... :D

Why reset the scores? I don't get it!! isn't the point of Score boards to see how well you progress throughout the life of the game, while your playing it? I just don't get it. You should not reset the scoreboards, it would be better that way!!!

Way to bump an old thread. Anyway, read this:
http://unrealvoodoo.org/hiteck/blog/fre ... re-charts/
Any score charts must do maintenance and cleanup once in a while. Also, when the systems change, it's normal to purge old scores. A simple way to keep your scores is to keep your songs library throughout "your" life of the game, while you're playing it. If you keep the song.ini for every songs you can simply reupload your scores after a purge by playing that song.
Re: World Starpower Chart
Just start uploading scores. You don't have to join.
You need to upload 10+ scores I believe before you can be added into the user table (where you can see your stats and such).. But the updates aren't super often, so you'll have to be patient.

Yea, it's a bummer...
Does anybody know how to change the fofix settings so that it can upload to someplace else?
Also, is there another place where people can upload their scores?
Re: World Starpower Chart
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you change it in the fofix.ini file in your users/appdata/fofix directory. Open that with notepad (for example) and you should see where it says "uploadurl_w67_starpower = http://www.wembley1967.com/chart/uploadsp.php". I can't find any other world charts though. I miss being able to upload my scores.
Re: World Starpower Chart
I can't believe this disappeared so quickly : no backup anywhere, the database nor the php scripts have not been posted anywhere, all gone.
Now maybe it was not a superb idea for the scores themselves because cheaters could exploit it to send anything without too much trouble.
But it had the value to show at least general stats, like the most played song of the moment, and so on...
Here is what a statistic page I found on the internet archive, it's back from 2009 !!!
https://web.archive.org/web/20091022063 ... /index.php
Also there is a replacement, but it's not for fof/fofix/ps, it's for the commercial games only on consoles apparently : http://www.scorehero.com/
So the scores probably can't be compared directly to what is possible with fofix (especially for guitar hero 1).
But here again, it can be interesting.
It would be easy to put up some replacement site somewhere, but it's probably not worth the pain after so much time... too bad !
