Currently i am in process of recording all the rudiments. This will take some time.

I will update again in a couple of weeks.

Hey,

To ensure that the timing, form, and everything is spot on, how about using a drum machine application to create the sounds - instead of recording actual ones? That way there's no room for error....

Thanks,

Matt!

Sounds like a good idea only problem is that i have never even considered an electric drum machine, so i would most likely be at a loss as to how to go about it.
I am a purest so to speak i only play a real kit.
Beyond the real kit i would most likely screw it up lol.

Winter,

Hello again.... When I was referring to electronic drums, I just meant using a computer program to generate the beats/phrases - like the practice song in the other thread you posted in here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=30505

I think the creator just layed out a beat in a drum program to get the sounds - that way there is no worry of any human error in timing - which can b e pretty crucial when learning rolls...

Either way, I am thankful for all of the work all of you are doing!

Later,

Matt!

Nice little app...

But more specifically, any basic music program will allow you to automatically create rolls, beats, etc that are exactly in time....

I know this thread is a bit old, I'm sorry if this is considered reviving a dead thread/spam. It was linked from the FoFiX thread. I was just curious what the progress/status of this project was. I think this is a really cool idea and I could probably more easily justify buying a drumset peripheral if I had something educational like this.

Yeah, it'd be really nice if this got done.

If this is abandoned, I can take it over. I may not be an experienced drummer, but I am a pretty experienced musician, and have the ability to code realistic drums.

Kirbix if you wish to pick it up go for it.

It is winter time and my work load is ridiculous at best.
I figure it to be around spring before i could get back to it full time.

I'm working on the first tier right now. I'm going to do it my own way though.

Good luck both of you. If there is anything I can do with my limited knowledge, I'll be happy to help.

Seeing as I've made a mini version of this (pretty much fit it all into 1 song) I'll offer any help I can give. :)
