Always go to a doctor. I once gothurt, but thought it wouldn't be to bad. After a week of not walking, I decided it took to long, and it turned out to be pretty serious. If I'd have went to the doctor immediatly and if he told me what he did, it would've healed much quicker.
Im tired, grumpy and my english sucks atm. my sincere apologies.

I would go to the doctor, but my parents say "It will get better in a couple of days" and It got worse... I hate them now... With my little brother, they took him to the doctor and he said it wasn't that bad... so now I can't go because it 'might' get better in a couple of days... and my parents said that thursday! 3 days ago... I've been awake since 7:05 yesterday because of school... I've been awake because of the pain......

It feels a bit better, got a bit smaller.... Thank god for Ice.... hwlped after an hour of ice on my thumb... It is almost frozen I think... :p

Pain and bruising is actually a GOOD sign. It means that your body is doing it's job, and attempting to repair it. It's only been 2 days, give it time, your body isn't exactly quick when it comes to repairs like this. But, if you can still bend it, then there should be no need to go to the doctor after only 2 days. Generally, if it's not showing signs of improvement after 5 days, then you should go have it checked out.
