FOF 1.2.438 - Worth it?

Needless to say I was excited to hear the new version was out. But when I began to read about some of the bugs, it seems it might be better to wait and see if some of these things get worked out.

So the question is(to those whov'e tried the new version) get it now or wait?

Get it now but install it someplace else. That way you can see how you like the HOPO and the background

I think the background is great, and it runs a lot lot faster on my computer. I still play the old version mostly though.

Thats what I was pritty much thinking of doing. But the complants just seemed rampant. So that backed me off trying.

I think I will try it. Then come back and vote in my own poll after a good testing.

I'm gonna wait for the RF-mod too.
And I'd like to have the splitscreen-mod too.

essentially the same yes, but this poll asks wether or not YOU should download it. Like i said, you should at least try it out. Is it so big a deal to try it? Your computer won't explode, I promise. No viruses either. Is a poll needed to help you make up your mind to download this? So after this poll has gone on for a week or so are you going to say to yourself "yeah, I better hold off?" Just try it. Then you will know.

yes, it's cool

some tune-up things left to do and a lot of "file renaming" for folder managment... but it's cool and works better than old version

its a deffinate download, theres a lot of improvement in speed and less lag in places where previous versions lagged.
there are some things that need changing which im sure the RF-mod will take care of. :cool:

Hah! When you press Esc and go to settings, the volume goes up to 11/10. Thats damn classic.

Even though the HO/PO system isn't working properly I still prefer this version since it runs much smoother for me.

definitely get it now, but put it in a different folder so you can use the mods and such that only work with the older version

I downloaded it, tryed implementing some of my favorite mod's qualities (Fozz's Keys/Notes, RF Mod Stuff, Etc.) and the new FoF Ripped it all to pieces. My notes were miscolored and titled in like a half pipe!.
The HOPO feature is terrible. I'm a picker. I don't HoPos when I'm not forced to in GH, and this forces me to do EVERY SINGLE ONE!

I think it was rushed, overhyped, and needs much work to be done. Needless to say I'm running the old version w/ mods.
