HyperCam 2 record sounds. You just need to check the record sound box but I don't recommend HyperCam 2. Your video will off-sync from the sound. I recommend you to use Fraps. It's better.

I made this "quick guide" some time ago: http://fretsonfire.phonotheque.ca/screencapture/en-index.html
explaining how to do it with fraps or camstudio (free and opensource application).

Also, please refrain to discuss warez on these boards. we do not allow discussions about "cracking" or "downloading cracked" software.

That's not a cracked. That's just a registered version. Anyway, by using the super encoder, the quality will be low. So, I would recommend you to use Dr.DiVX to make the video in a smaller size and high in quality like mine. :)

You can use Hypercam 2. Just record yourself doing the song and all, then you can download the song and use Windows Movie Maker to sync the song and video. :D That's How I Do mine.

Interestingly enough, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any alternatives for Linux . . .

I got it working with a very nice program called glc
Here's a Linux.com Article about it and here's the site.

I didn't notice any major slowdowns (like with recordmydesktop or istanbul) but the filesize's are huge. Pretty mught the site and article explains it all.

Forgot to mention that GLC is basicly an improvement of yukon.
