I cannot actually get the game to run with your mod:( i even downloaded a fresh copy of rf mod and frets on fire, but still no luck.
I am running Windows Vista, i dont know if that would make a difference, like i said Frets on Fire was working before just fine. Ok and about the fretsonfire.exe.log.... there is no such file, i opened up the fretsonfire.exe and the last group of things it shows is
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "FretsOnFire.py", line 64, in ?
File "GameEngine.pyo", line 173, in
File "Input.pyo", line 77, in
File "Player.pyo", line 147, in
File "Player.pyo", line 119, in keycode
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'None'

I am not sure if this means anything to you or not.

Thanks for helping me iron out the bugs everyone. I've uploaded a version with some more bug fixes:

- I think it works on those songs that have unusually named tracks, such as the Korn one mentioned

-It no longer asks Player one which track to play if there's onl y one track

-Escape works to take you to the previous menu

I use a guitar controller / keyboard combination. I'd be interested to hear if it were possible to use two keyboards.

I'm working on that one. I fear my knowledge of Python might not be up to the task, but I'm trying. It's got something to do with the key settings.

Is it at the same link as the one on the first page? Because I noticed you didn't provide a new one.

Did you ever reproduce the bug I mentioned?

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

...So the "DOWNLOAD HERE!" link on the first page is the newest version?

Yes. Also I haven't reproduced the bug you mentioned I'm afraid. If you can find a way to reproduce it reliably, I can try to fix it.
