List Of Requests For New FoFix

OMG, I finally, really got 2 play the new FoFix, it's AWESOME! Well, I tested it, now here's my opinions on things that need 2 b voted on 2 b added/changed/fixed:
(I know some have already been requested, i'm "doubling" my opininon.)

-After you complete each song, there's still that voice from the old school FOF game saying "Next time, use the ask button, or You suck"! That's not nessasary, and it's a little out of place especially since we're using the Rockband/Guitar Hero mods nowadays.

-Have the option 2 choose the neck speed while on quickplay/multiplayer. I'm good at drums, and I can play amazing just fine, it's just that the fretboard moves 2 quickly, I can't read ny of the notes, not only that but my computer cannot run them that fast as well. Give an option 2 slow it down just a bit, like halfway inbetween medium and amazing.

-Add "Players Name" to the bottom of the fretboard like on Rockband. (Of course, if you enable it Yes/No)
-Add the "Create A Setlist" option at the top.
-"Sound Leveling" for all songs in the game, ya know, just like Media Player has.

-Create a way 4 Frets on Fire 2 automatically know the sync of a song and sync it up correctly, so fretters don't have 2 worry abt syncing songs. (Defenitly Impossible)

-Add ability for Fofix to automatically notice Expert + Difficulty for Drums. (Forum Thread here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=49417&p=556738#p556738)

-While playing careers and ur on a setlist, press the kick pedal in 2 b able 2 see the list of songs in that tier, and if they've already been passed have them shaded out or checked off, etc. (At the bottom it says: [Orange Button] "Featured Songs")

-One more thing: I know that they're building Fofix later to have a rating system and/or song rating submission with 1-5 star rating. I think that is one of the best ideas people have had in a while! This will help fretters 2 know how well they did and how much people enjoy the songs and it's done in a quick and easy fashion.
An idea I'd like to throw out from this-You have 1-5 star rating, but you also have a level-6 star or a "favorite" star, whichever, the point is that if you rate a song as a "favorite" you can access it later via a pull-down-favorite menu. Maybe like on the menu screen when u go 2 select a song and at the bottom it says "[Blue Button] Favorites" (I'd like to add this to my pull down "Featured Songs" request".

I'm quite certain the preview feature has been there for some time now.

Well, I saw the graphic 4 it, @ the bottom of the screen (playing drums) it says [Orange Note] Preview. But I press the bass pedal & it doesn't do nything. Kool tho, I didn't know we already had that!

2. how could someone work out how to get the git version of fofix and not know how to go into the settings menu.
most of these ideas are implemented into the game.

I'm not sure what you mean, "type like a normal person" I'm not typing in spanish and i'm typing better than most ppl in the wiki, at least I can spell and s**t. Oh and B, what the hell is B? Did u just branch off from #'s then change 2 letters? Whts up w/that?! I don't appreciate u, well...basically calling me stupid 4 not knowing that the items are on the settings menu, I did go back and see that there's a guide in the "docs" folder that tells u abt every little thing and yeah, most of this stuff is probabaly on there but I don't know what they're called in FoFix. I'm not stupid, i'm just not skilled in this general area.

What's not normal, is "abbreviating" in a context where it's unnecessary.

Well, now that you have pointed directly to my text I understand what it is that you were talking about. I don't really think it's necessary to point out that I am using texting language in the forum but i guess if you're that much of a credic of something...Anyway, I don't just have all the time in the world to just talk on the forum, if I have something very important to talk about I will use "professional" language, what you call "English". I apologize if it disturbs you a bit tho, somethings that people do just don't agree with other people. Haha!

-Add [slideshow mode] onto the stage selection, allowing 4 stage switching while switching as well as an option 4 how many seconds 2 change each picture.

-And of course, good ol Tug Of War games w/ny insturment combination as well as those Guitar Hero III Attack games, (I 4got what they're called), when u attack an opponents board with whammy bar, button-smasher-inner, and difficulty up! AWESOME!

-Publish some youtube videos/pictures of spoilers 4 the game showing new features like a month b4 it gets released or something. (Let the teasing begin!)

In order,

- The voice of Jurgen is what keeps teh connection to the original frets on fire. I personally believe in adding in a new characters that are instrument based. Jurgen is not a drummer, vocalist and bassist

- This feature has been in a long while. THe auto-play of songs i think was temprarily disabled due to issues with it.

- Wouldnt be hard to do in theory, but i would prefer a date of completion over that. But i dont use the Career feature, so it wouldnt matter to me.

- THis im not to sure of as it's something that concerns performance (do you mean somehting like Hyperspeed). I know there is a setting that controls the board speed

- There is a slideshow setting (2 in fact) ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPVwJUXkl9E ) this is a result of what you CAN do with the slideshow setting.

- Players name on the fret board i think has been suggested

- Im sure this has been suggested too.

- Battle mode has been around since fofix 3.100, you need to have the correct theme (that being the GH3 - up themes). Tug of war has been suggested

- a in game publisher is askin too much already. FoFix isnt comercial, so something like that could litterally break development.

Thank you for clearing up somethings with me Amak! I've updated my post now to include things still thought of as "A Legitimate Request-That-Isn't-Already-Included" LoL. I had no idea about the slideshow thing tho, that background actually looks animated, that's awesome, how do you do that?

idea:

the 4x bar should be 20 notes long, and if you complete it:
all the notes should change to a color, or maybe burst into flames.
and do 8x the points.

i think any online game that somehow DID NOT require both users to have the same song, would be cool... put it into a 2/3 format, each player picking a song of their own, and then feedback be given afterwards as far as picking a legitimate song... not something that was awful and had poor sync or insanely overcharted and the like... that way it would be easier to just play and not worry about the other person's library... which can, and would be a serious pain in the arse...
