I have no idea what gen_codehazard was talking about if it wasn't this type of tracks...

ok first i like to kive 2 kudo`s for getting my name right your the first :2thumbsup:

and sec when ever i play alarain`s mod 3.x or 2.x even any other fof major mod`s i would get the following

lead guitar (
guitar
rhythm

and some of the track`s in the midi`s would not work right like lead would be bass as rhythm was guitar
now correct me if im wrong *wich i probably am* but there`s ether a mix up in the instrument selection or the midi`s in the fof library needs to be updated on all song`s

Missed a 'z'. :tongue2:

I know I had done some testing on this.http://fretsonfire.wikidot.com/songs-technical.

I don't think that there's any more to add to the topic currently, sure we could go on and fiure out what gen_codehazzard's problem was in the midi but that's not relavant to the topic (asking for the addition of more audio tracks not midi tracks after all).

As for the midi I know for sure that fofix supports 4 string instruments and one drum, a total of five instruments. I had a song that needed 5 string instruments but couldn't put them all in: Guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, cello, & violin. So I had to leave one out.

Here is what currently works (In parenthesis is how they show up in FOFix)

PART GUITAR (Guitar)
PART GUITAR COOP (Lead Guitar)
PART RHYTHM (Rhythm Guitar)
PART BASS (Bass Guitar)

and of course the drums

as for the ogg's i'm not sure. I know that Rockband bass oggs used with FOFix are called rhythm.ogg

chill... guitar is usually a mix of both lead AND rhythm... lead is JUST the lead track

It was done that way because I believe it was the format that GH3 used.

but then change the name from lead to coop or lead and rhythm now that make`s since if not the idk and idc.

now adding the bass support for bass.ogg would be nice

guitar.ogg
song.ogg
rhythm.ogg
bass.ogg
notes.midi
song.ini
and when there`s fineally support for it
lyrics.ogg
lyrics.midi
^^^^^^^^^^
but these`s are suggestion
