That you can't select characters because it just kinda boring that you just see the notechart because with characters it's more entertaining because there like moving around the stage and there holding thre guitars up in the air another thing you should be able to do is have the option to make custom characters. FoF doesn't really need any new ideas for the graphic aspect of the game. making custom characters isnt really useful, and it doesnt make the game any more fun.

WHAT!!! It makes it ten times better! I think that there should just be different folders in the stage folder of each theme nad a option uder video to select which one. Simple, and not much coding needed. Can someone do it?

3d models and animated bakgrounds are kewl and all, but the only time I'd really like to see characters would be during online games, to help identify mates/oponents.

Fully agreed. Frets on Fire to me is more about the wide musical variaty than flashy graphics and amimation.

frets on fire is so people can make themselves gods :) ... if your not good at guitar hero you play sloppy... if you want to make your own songs you can... and if you pick pop songs to make then it doesnt even matter if they're well fretted... people love you.

That being said, i love Fretsonfire because it can be whatever you want it to be as long as you have the knowhow... but video's in the background will be the next big thing after fixing the memory leak i think.
