how do you make an open note using a midi editor... is it all 5 frets at the same time? or the 6th note up?

By the way, FoFiX also should add support for the open-strum-bass-drum-like notes (get it?)

Open string notes are already supported

funny how no one uses them

But i think there is no way to create a chart with this notes.
I only see "Ignore open strums" in the options menu

Obviously if you have the option to ignore something it has to be there in the first place

I always assumed that was there to keep the game from registering strums while there were no notes on screen.

I'm probably wrong. Ha ha.

Ignore open strums makes it so you do not break your streak if you strum without holding frets when there are no notes.

If you have a midi editor you can make a chart with this note

Yes you can, but FoF will not make the note appear (so it´s not a note, just a midi tone)

My bad then. I do still clearly remember it being implemented into one of the earlier versions of Alarian though

It was in an early hering mod version if I'm not mistaken, but was removed because the lack of use.
