REAL career mode ?!

I have alarian 3.1 with all skins based GH 1 2 3 and rockband etc....

I really love FOF, and i congrats people who worked hard on it to make this great free game avaible on PC.

But as we are here to sugest improvements, i wanna say that what is missing the most for me in FoF is a real career mode.

I mean a mode, where you could create a band, chose your instrument, and start playing in a "tour" with some backgrounds animated, crowd screams all the time, and
increasing song difficulty, and a little story line that evolve with your performance.

I don't know if it is already planed, or not. But as i didn't found any sugestion like this. I post.
Anyway i know it is maybe very ahrd to get. But i just propose.

If you use FoFiX you already have a career mode working. But the only thing that works is that the most difficult songs are locked and can only be played if you pay all previous songs of the previous tier.

But, if you play in quickplay, the songs are all unlocked...

Anyway, this career mode is working but, is not perfect yet, since you can play a song on any difficulty to be able to unlock the other ones.

I think, Typhus, he means something more along the lines of adding the possibility to create a character/band, a storyline etc. He means more like stuff besides the career mode we have already, as of now we have the possibility to unlock other songs regardless of the difficulty played on, and we create profiles instead of actual characters.

I think that, since things like a customizable character are requested quite a lot, it'll be in the waiting line. The career mode as we have it now is definitely not in it's final phase as there is still so many things it can be changed into.

But since he talked about Alarian (and not FoFiX) I thought that, he wasn't aware of the "pseudo-career" mode. I mean, Alarian is different than FoFiX, right? FoFiX was "built" from Alarian but it's not Alarian anymore, right? Or am I making a mess of this all?

Alarian and FoFiX are basically the same thing, with FoFiX just being a later version, and since he said Alarian 3.1 (Alarian became MFH at 3.000, and FoFiX shortly after) I assume he actually means FoFiX and is getting names confused.

In FoFiX 4.0, there will be the ability to use song-specific video backgrounds, meaning you could create videos of different "venues" and assign them to the songs of that tier, and you could create a pseudo-storyline. Of course you won't be able to create a character/band that will appear in the video, and creating such a career will probably be something that most people would see as too much effort, but it's a start.
