No, the opposite, actually. If I export a midi with REAPER and then save it with EoF, that happens.

New hotfix is up. Non pro guitar specific changes are as follows:
*Fixed a MIDI import bug where an open note in a legacy guitar track would import as a lane 1+6 chord.
*Fixed a bug in Rex Mundi input mode where if a lane 6 gem was toggled on for an existing note in a legacy guitar track, it didn't immediately remove all other gems to reflect that it's an open note.
*Enabled HOPO on/off status for open notes to export to MIDI, for use in Clone Hero.
*Fixed a bug performing/undoing a leading silence operation would not backup/reload the correct audio file.
*Fixed a bug where editing a note to toggle a gem on lane 6 in a pro guitar track could cause a crash.

Specifically, you import a REAPER-created MIDI into a new, empty EOF project and EOF shows duplicated lyrics? Can you provide a sample MIDI file and exact steps for me to try to reproduce the issue (ie. create new project, use MIDI import or use Lyric import)?

For some reasons, the new hotfix is detected as a virus, and won't let me open the software anymore.

All I do is open the .mid exported from REAPER (since I've set all .mid files to open with EoF) and then save it, with or without editing it. That causes the issue you see in my screenshots. I'll put the .mid in question here, before and after saving it in EoF. The version of REAPER I'm using is 4.22, and I use UTF-8 encoding on all my .mids just in case I work with special characters like accents and stuff, if that's important. If you need the .RPP as well, I can link to it as well.

If you're wondering why the issue isn't present until after the first chorus, it's because if I save the fixed mid in EOF (after manually removing the extra lyric events in REAPER and exporting it), somehow the issue doesn't occur anymore.

.mid before save

.mid after save

Looks like starting with the second verse, you started authoring lyrics with text events instead of the proper lyric events. EOF was converting them to lyrics, but then also importing them as text events, which is why EOF would then write the affected lyrics as both a lyric event and a text event. If you correct your original MIDI in REAPER (which will be necessary for use in Rock Band anyway), it will probably not be a problem anymore but I'll improve EOF's handling of this.

So I tried the new hotfix for the HOPO open notes.

First thing, the forcing ON the open notes works perfectly. But I noticed a bug : When you want to force a green note after an open note, the forcing won't work.

I'm having the opposite issue, essentially:

Trying to force an open note after a 16th note slider green note won't work:

(No game screenshot, but that forced open after the sliders is still a HOPO in game)

Yes it keeps the forcing in EOF

For what it's worth, Clone Hero's engine is based on Moonscraper's code.

Also moonscraper uses goulart's mid2chart to read midis.

Hey, I noticed a setting that says ignore midbeat tempo markers when importing from dB. Does that apply to all imports or just FeedBack imports? And if it is just FeedBack imports, is there a way to ignore them from other sources?
