Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
I have a problem with the starpower notes.
I select the first note, then I click on the last note while pressing shift, then I select Startpower>Mark. Well, actually I can see the starpower notes in EOF, but ingame there's no starpower notes. What now?!

Which version of which game are you using? As documented in EOF's manual, FoF doesn't support user-defined star power sections, but FoFiX does. If you can import the saved MIDI into EOF and it still shows the star power where expected, it could be a bug with the game you are using.

Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
What about the version number of FoFiX or the results of importing the MIDI back into EOF?
Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
I imported the midi back, than save again, and seems like it works, thanks!

crash report here, on a song that i'm editing, there this one little bpm at the end of the song, that whenever i move it to any size, EoF always crashes, no matter what

I hate starting over.... :l

Code: Select all
*EoF to have a temp save file of the song your currently working, and when it suddenly crashes, and you reopen EoF, i would like there to be an option that would pop up "Would you like to open the last song working on?" or something like that, and for the temp to hold the last notes, even though you didnt click on "save" but for the temp to automatically save incase of crashes
I hate starting over.... :l

I'll check it out soon, but if you haven't already begun working on it again, look for a backup.eof file in your chart folder. EOF saves this temporary backup every 10 or so changes. A re-open last state feature might not be too difficult to do, since EOF does save the entire chart each time an undo state is made, and these are normally deleted when EOF is properly closed. If it crashed, then such a file would still be there the next time EOF is opened.

Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
It would have been notes.eof.backup. Notes.mid.backup would be a backup of a notes.mid file you imported from that folder earlier.

Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
I have a slight problem. I'm charting a song with an extremely fast trill, but the custom snap only limits you to 64....
Well, my problem is there is a section of the trill (actually 2 trills in the song like this) where the notes are:
OGOGOGOGOGOGROROOROYOBOBOBOBOBOBOBOOGOGOYOYOYOBOBOBOBOBOBO
The the oranges are moving at the full 64 themselves so I can't get in between them. I tried turning the snap off and moving it between but the curser automatically moves to the next note. This is driving me nuts.

Re: EOF 1.8b3 - Pro guitar export now available
Why don't you just temporarily double the tempo for that section giving you an effective range up to 1/128th notes? Though honestly, a trill going over 1/64th is heading towards impossibility if the tempo is anything over 100 or so...
