Hallo,
i search the whole day for a solution. My problem is difficult maybe you can help me.
I got a PS3 Les Paul Guitar and i will connect it to my pc to play FoFix.
But it doesnt works. The dongle is blinking and the guitar, too.
I try to sign in the guitar but if i do this the guitar blinking very fast and then a litte bit slower and at least no lights burning.
The batteries i change today before i start testing.
Windows set the USB install to default Input Device Maybe is their the problem, but i'm not sure . I read in the internet you install xinput for PS3 + XBOX Controllers for win7 , but must it only for gamepad's.
I'm totally tired i searched the whole day @ google.
Now you are my last hope.
I try to install @ Win 7 Prof 64 Bit Version. My FoFix Version is 1.3121 stable
I try the WT Guitar from a good friend. That works fine. (microphone works also fine)
regards,
Persecute

Re: Windows 7 64 Bit and Les Paul Guitar
I didn't get it, did you try to install the xinput?
Now, I don't have a Les Paul PS3 guitar, but I reckon you need some kind of driver for a PS3 controller to be used within Windows. this xinput you talk about seems to configure game controllers for windows, but if it doesn't work, try looking for "driver PS3 guitar" on google. You definitely need one.
You can test if windows recognize your controller by entering start menu, typing "controller" on search, and clicking the USB controllers option. It should show up there if windows is recognizing it.

JoyToKey not working because the guitar is not sending any input to the dongle, that i believe.
Thx for answer so far.
