C++ Runtime Error

Postby InuYasha86000 » Wed Aug 04, 2010 1:50 am

the reason i'm posting this here is because it gives me no error. I can get a snapshot of the window that appears. basically what it's doing is, I double click to start FoFix (Current Version) and the window comes up for maybe one second, then it goes away and shows me a small error window and the top bar of the window says "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" Runtime Error! Shows FoFix.exe, then says: "This Application Has Requested The Runtime To Terminate In An Unusual Way, Please Contact The Application's Support Team For More Information. hard to do with no error huh?

...I'm guessing the error itself led me wrong, the part about talking to the program tech or something like that. it's the latest version of FoFix running on a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ with 2,048mb RAM with a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 Graphics card running Windows XP SP3. FoFix used to work on it before, don't know what's happened and it's driving me nuts, anyone with ANY ideas what to do, PLEASE post here, i'm at a loss.

This runs on Python if I'm correct, not C++. Try turning off shaders.

it *should* work on your card... make sure you have 93.71 drivers installed (or grab a 10x better card from newegg for $20)

One Problem, it errors out when I go to start the program itself, unless there's a hidden .ini file somewhere, I can't change anything.

ok, so I found the .ini file, and changed it so shaders are off, it still gives me that weird C++ error and I don't know why.
