They worked fine for me in alpha 1, dunno what's going on now :\.

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

I tried it on another pc and everything was working fine, both computers are running windows 7 though could it be an issue with windows xp? The alpha was built on a windows 7 pc btw.

The win32 package is an exe. .7z is a file extension, they're a compressed package, like a zip file. Download 7zip, unzip the file, then run the exe within it

Yes these alphas do not have exe installers like other versions may have had in the past. Download 7zip and extract it then run the exe inside

Hello Guys,
I am Having a Trouble with the fofix 4.0 alpha 1

When I try to create a control and choose the option: microphone

In microphone device is: [Microphones not Supported]

And when i Try to Test The control

Oh, animated rockmeter? Nice. blazin, are effects are used in MLv4?

-- Edit: Sun Oct 09, 2011 4:35 pm --

Oh no, blazin. You sure you saved the notes in the new format? Because they are rendered sideways.

It sure does bring back good old memories.

It works fine on a clean install. If you didn't delete your fofix.ini it might still be reading in your old values, so if you had 3D note rotation set to old, it'll still be old. The notes do work when you have it set to new.

Ok, I see around the forum people talking about an Alpha 2? Has there been such a release yet or is it just Git? Or do I even just have my facts wrong?

blazingamer wrote:'sup guys, it's out. As quoted from the facebook page

I was going to wait until midnight, but it's just too darn exciting. Alpha 2 is out and uploaded! Here's the link to the downloads. Click on the win32 package if you want an executable binary, click on the tag v4.0.0alpha2 if you want the source code.

https://github.com/stump/fofix/downloads

And here's the CHANGELOG https://github.com/stump/fofix/blob/v4. ... /CHANGELOG

It only contains the highlights of what we did. Most of the things accomplished in the past couple months were behind the scenes things that don't affect the users as much as it does the code cleanliness. We're going to continue with that as our focus for a bit while longer, because if we have a healthy code base it'll make it so much easier to bring you more features and more releases.

Hmm, I thought I set it to new. I'll check on it later.

Sorry, the two of us working on this are kind of stuck and don't really know what to do with it anymore. I'm kind of more interested in another project right now, but I could look at the code a little more and see what I can do to finish cleaning things up.
