I am an Ubuntu 9.04 user. When I choose controller type: <microphone> under menu "control settings" microphone device says Microphones not supported. Anybody can help me?
I tested my microphone , it was working fine with another program.

And what did you learn from this?
Don't install buggy software on the school computers. Only use stable versions :tongue2:

Very happy to hear this guys, even though my post count is not the greatest, I've been following fof and fofix for a while, I just read the posts but don't comment, unless it's really necessary. Looking forward to 4.0(sounds so cool!) Good luck.

I just wanted to know why FoFiX 3.030 runs more smooth than the other versions... I hope that FoFiX 4.0.0 runs as smooth as FoFiX 3.030

Considering all the changes and features added since 3.030, it is to be expected. However, as I understand it, performance will be a focus during the 4.x cycle.

In the meantime, you could try both the Python 2.4 and 2.6 versions, disabling/enabling Psyco, or simply, sticking with 3.030. That latter option being the least preferable, of course.

i really cant wat for 4.0 / when all the preformance updates are made :)
and im lovin that the svn is active again because when the feature freeze was in effect it would take forever sometimes weeks before a new thing was uploaded.
I also hope that the wammy effects get worked on more so the tails will be more like how rockband actually is, and the pitchbend improoved
and wow new things are being released right and left :P now we have animated stuff like loading screens and such, and alot more file types for labels, neck, avatars, submenus, and stages. nice :) im lovin 4.0 already and its only been a day :P
