Hi,
I'm running FoFiX 3.100 in Ubuntu in the Magalight theme. It normally works fine, but on occasion something very weird happens. I'll be hearing the bass track for a completely different song than the one I'm playing.
It just happened for me when I tried to play Misirlou and it was going normally except that I could also hear the bass part from Bad Reputation. It's worth noting that in this game session I haven't played Bad Reputation at all. This happens with a variety of songs, not just Misirlou - though I -always- hear the bass track from Bad Reputation when playing Misirlou, and the same for other mismatched songs.
If it helps, I'm using the song packs "Pack canciones guitar hero II para frets on fire by anarko919" that have names like parte1, parte2, etc.
This is such a weird problem - I hope someone can help!

Re: Guitar and Bass Tracks Don't Match
I don't remember setlists of various games very well, but... are these GH2 songs that are having this problem?
In GH2 not all songs had bass tracks, and in the ripping procedure it put bass tracks from other songs in the ones that had none. Check the song's folder, and play it's rhythm.ogg and see if it's he wrong one. If it is, just delete it.

Re: Guitar and Bass Tracks Don't Match
I can confirm that this problem is real and still present in RC version of FoFiX. It is hard to reproduce cause you never know when it will show up. However, it seems that "song.ogg" is starting before the other oggs. Before means a few milliseconds here.
For example, in this song, percussions are stored in song.ogg while the other instruments have their own ogg. When I run the game and load this song I can hear clearly that percussions and drums are not in sync. Restarting the song fix the problem.
An issue should be open for this problem.

Re: Guitar and Bass Tracks Don't Match
I don't know if this is what is happening but I remember some songs would play twice(kind of like that pre-school game where one person starts to sing row you boat, and then the next person starts singing the same song midway into the other persons) when their was a guitar.ogg and a song.ogg so I just deleted the guitar.ogg(it sounded the exact same as the song.ogg though) and that fixed the problem.
