Re: Drums
That's still vague. Post a screenshot or tell us what your computer specs are, what FOF version and mods you're using, and what exactly the error message said. Don't just say you have an error, because there are literally a million different things it could be.

Re: Drums
Uhh, by any chance, did the error read something like,
"Runtime error, this application has requested to be terminated in an unusual way."?
And if I understand right, you start a song on drums, and the instant you play the first note, an error occurs? What kind of error, does it crash to the desktop and say something like the above?
I remember I had a similar sitiation a while back, where it was me and Jurgen testing out a song I made with drums in it (When are we getting the orange note?! =P ). Jurgen was on drums, because mine were being ghetto on me. Jurgen hits the first drum note on my song, "Runtime error, this application has requested to be terminated in an unusual way.". Jurgen hits the first drum note on another song, "Runtime error, this application has requested to be terminated in an unusual way.". I believe it was FoFiX beta 3.120 using the installers, and it would crash with "No such instance found: hitanim2.", or something like that. I updated to the latest .svn version (which I didn't want to at first), and now it doesn't give me crashes anymore from drum notes.

Since "DragonFail" "sucks" so much, I won't post anything related or about them any longer.

Do you have the log file?
From the Forum rules:

in Windows: Your game folder
in GNU/Linux: ~/.fofix
in Mac OS X: ~/Library/Logs.

Not only do we need the logfile, but also what is the exact text of the error?
There are a few different possible "Runtime Error" messages, indicating different things.
Also, you are not using 3.120, you are using 3.120 beta 1! Don't contribute to the problem of n00bs seeing such postings and hounding us (the developers) for 3.120, which does not exist yet! (The forum rules specifically mention this, just like they mention including the full text of any error messages received and to always post your logfile with a problem report, and you have broken all three of those rules.)
