Vocals

Postby icke01 » Wed May 27, 2009 11:04 am

I have read several times about FoFix vocal support but I can not find anything ingame! I am using FoFix alpha (rev. 1572). I am running it with python 2.6 and installed the 2 modules for experimental vocals support. Could someone please explain me if vocals are available yet and if so how to set them up?

This has been posted bout milion time.
Find "mic_features_enabled = false" line in you fofix.ini, and change it into "mic_features_enabled = true".

Make one yourself. Try to make a new text file, but rename the extension to .ini.

fofix.ini can be found by running:
Start --> Run command (or the keyboard shortcut, Windows + R) %appdata%/fofix/

It should be in the folder that will pop up or in your game root dir (C:\Program Files\FoFiX\fofix.ini) (could be FoFiX\src as well.. not sure, I've only used the ~/.fofix folder under linux myself).

Both are "hidden" folders.

Or in Vista: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\fofix\fofix.ini

Try to go to your fofix folder-->src-->scripts-->rebuild win. If then isn't there, make one yourself.

And just what did that have to do with the topic at hand?

The original poster needed to find fofix.ini, and he did. Building an executable has no bearing on it at all.

What is he supposed to make himself if there's no rebuildwin, anyway?

(I really need to remove that mic_features_enabled switch; it has long outlived its usefulness.)
