just wondering if opengl3 is needed for python 2.6?
my vid card is only 2.0

Versions of pyOpenGL don't directly have to do with versions of OpenGL itself.
You will need pyOpenGL 3 with Python 2.6. There is no pyOpenGL 2 package for 2.6.

ok i guess im sticking with 2.4 then, atleast until i get a better vid card..lol

I think his point was you can use pyOpenGL 3 with no problems on an older graphics card. You just might not get some of the newer shaders and stuff, but my guess is you wouldn't be anyway.
