Why? We have a subforum, we have the dev thread, we have the google code page? What more is necessary?
There are too many forums to keep up with as it is.

What's wrong with the way things are now? We have a subforum dedicated to FoFiX directly inside the central gathering point of the greater FoF community, we have most of our development discussion here, we have most theme development here, and we even have a certain developer with the power to moderate the subforum. And we have Google Code's issue tracker and wiki too.
There just isn't a good reason to do it any other way.

*Sigh* Google Code is not explicitly for SVN -- it's just available there...
The full releases are there too... Not to mention, do you really want to advertise SVN, all things considered?
I really, really, really, do not find this necessary.
On another note, why is everything FoF related bright red?

I probably couldn't have said that better. (edit: Lys's post, that is)
Continuing to work on that site is completely unnecessary. We have everything we need right here and on Google Code.
I think it's just been a tradition to use the color scheme from the original FoF.

It could be kinda cool to get a forum theme that has the FoFiX logo. Just for people who want it.
And as much as the red is the traditional FoF colouring, FoFiX is not traditional FoF... In my head I see FoFiX as more... Greyscale, with small splashings of colour.
Come to think of it, that's more a Rock Band 1 kind of colour scheme...

If you commented on every spelling error in the forum you'd be there for a long long time. If you can easily make out what it's supposed to say, please don't bother.

Let's not be getting on one another about tiny things like that.
Back on topic, how and why would we use that design?

I really don't think we'd end up using it.
