See the news and download links on our summary page.

For now, only GNU/Linux binaries are available*.
John will upload the Windows binaries as soon as possible.

Can't find a Windows build of the Python module you need? Try my mediafire!
Don't say "Python can't do [insert task here]." Python can do anything with the right modules - said modules may just not have been written yet.

Ok, thanks.
EDIT 2: Sorry, but evilynux should do a message with bigger letters like you!
EDIT 3: Megaupload is down!
EDIT 4: Now it is on, thanks

Mac Binaries of FoFiX 3.120 beta 2 are ready.

FoFiX 3.120 beta 2 using python 2.5 + pyOpenGL 2

FoFiX 3.120 beta 2 using python 2.6 + pyOpenGL 3

I hope there are no compatibility issues with Tiger or ppc Macs this time. Both packages are using the latest rev of pygame 1.9, so both should be compatible with Tiger since the dependency on pyobjc was removed.

I've just update the summary page with the MS Windows and MacOS X packages. Note that the only reason i've uploaded the GNU/Linux packages to Megaupload is because Mediafire kept timing out on me...

On python version 2.6 for mac beta release 2 3.120 (SVN r.1740) there is an eror that says:
ImportError: The _imaging C module is not installed
I don't know if the error is showing for me only, but can you please tell me what to do?
However 2.5 works.
By the way great job.

Thanks for the new beta, I'm really liking it!
Only thing I've noticed is that the in-game shader EQ is a bit too high, and only visible with scrolling lyrics
Also the results screen score and stars clash, but that's a theme issue, right?

Oh and, could someone please disable being able to select an instrument by strumming up or down. My PS3 guitar's up and down arrows do the same as the strum bar, so when I go to select another instrument, it just chooses it :/

- Disconnect error pops up and everything's **** when starting a song while its preview is loading (I have autopreview on, but I doubt it makes a difference).

Why not make an issue so that we don't forget about it?

Logfile? Exact error text? It's in the rules for a reason.

So it doesn't happen for you? Because if it does then you wouldn't need the log, since you'd probably want to try it yourself anyway.

Anyway, if it doesn't happen for you, here it is:

Code: Select all

File "c:\fofix\src\Dialogs.py", line 1156, in hidden
    self.songLoader.stop() # evilynux - cancel() became stop()
AttributeError: 'Loader' object has no attribute 'stop'

whole thing appears 2 times.

Return to “FoFiX”
