Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Has someone noticed that fatdog and akedrou has been working on 3D models bending for RB 3D models? You won't know unless you didn't read the updated SVN log file and fatdog's 3D Models thread.

My FoFix won't work, can someone help me ?
Delete POWRPROF.dll under [Program Location Here]\FoFiX v3.120 RC1 (py2.6 gl3)\data folder. That answer is posted everywhere btw, I think even on the last page.
Thx for help :D

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
OK, there has been a fixed Python 2.4 RC1 posted here: http://code.google.com/p/fofix/issues/detail?id=992#c1
This allows the playing of songs with separated audio tracks.

Homer...
Hit the spacebar (if that doesn't work, try CTRL). That should do it.
Let us know,
Matt!
CTRL worked
Thanks.

If your computer can run 2.6 then 2.6 should be better, but some older computers work better with 2.4 so it's completely up to the users computer(from what I understand anyway).

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
2.4 will give slightly better frame rates but also lags more often breaking your streak, this gets worse for me the more songs i play consecutively
2.6 has a slightly lower frame rate but runs much smoother on all my machines, making it possible to 100 % expert songs
also 2.6 is less memory greedy.
if your computer will run 2.6 it's definitely better. :)

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Great job so far (especially recent 3D note changes), just a few minor bugs I've noticed:
- Changing Overlay Neck Transparency (Fretboard settings) seems to have no effect, the Overdrive neck for example always has the same transparency the main neck has.
- In Multiplayer (RB-Coop), Drums have a significantly lower hit percentage at the end of a song, I suggest you should check out this video and compare hit percentages while playing the song and after finishing the song.
(My guess is the game just removes the notes you skip while activating starpower but adds all those skipped notes at the end and marks them as missed, mind you: this works well in Quickplay)
- Neck Overlay/Replace settings seem inconsistent: the Overdrive Neck always keeps scrolling down regardless if Overlay or Replace is enabled, the Bass Groove Neck on the other hand doesn't scroll at all if Overlay is enabled but is scrolling if Replace is enabled.
- Using the Whammy Bar while playing the last note of a song screws up your whole FoFiX sound for the rest of the session, you have to restart FoFiX to fix that, I guess some kind of sound buffer reset at the end of a song should fix that.

Thats not what that option is for.
Neck Overlay/Replace controlls whether the picture on the neck is replaced by the overdrive/bass groove neck or if the overdrive/bass groove neck just gets added on top of the main neck

I know that.
Just pointed out it looks weird to have a static Bass Groove Neck while Overlay is enabled and a scrolling Bass Groove Neck while Replace is enabled. It's ok if it's working as intended.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
I have python 2.6 with the latest revision of FoFiX 3.120. My computer plays FoFiX but everything is at normal speed till there are alot of notes in the game then it lags. Would it be better for me to put 2.4 or should i just make my settings less. Like i have animated whammy and antializing 4x and my pyscho is off. should i change to 2.4 or change settings.
