Post your fofix.log(it should be in your FoFiX folder).

T3HM3T4L:I've tried to sign up for Rock Band but they just won't allow me. They keep complaining I have to 'be over 18' while I've already been 18 for over half a year, and a sign up where I noted I was born in the '50s STILL GAVE ME THAT MESSAGE

So if anyone could help me get these templates, I'd very much appreciate it. I need it to edit notes and stuff for my Rock Band 2.

aander91:Sorry, but that'd be providing for minors, which is illegal.

T3HM3T4L:But I'm 18 years old... ?

aander91:Nope. Sorry.

T3HM3T4L:Nono, you're getting me wrong, I was asking how come I am still considered a minor?

aander91:Look, we can't just go out giving these things away to people who just say they're over 18 and show no proof, we'd be out of a job.

T3HM3T4L:Nevermind, I'll use EoF for it, I found the way I could use it for that.

You probably have FoFix 4.0 Alpha installed?
This theme works only with v3.121 (and some older ones)

Finally got around to reinstalling this and everything works great besides the bass pedal notes are way too wide. Probably something dumb and easy to fix but I looked through the options and nothing stuck out as an obvious fix. Pic: http://min.us/mve7Ehk

I downloaded the heme and there's some sort of problem with the notes.. while playing the notes appear like..broken.. like a bunch of bits are missing from each note. and there's also a major performance lag. my computer gets like playing crysis or something.. I've got fofix 3.121 (and the installer also said py2.4-ogl2 but i don't know what does this mean). ha anyone got any idea of what's going wrong or how to solve it? I'd really appreciate it.

I'm getting weird black lines on the notes with this theme, ruled out problems with my computer.

It's the metal shaders, you can turn them off by going to Options>Display Settings>Advanced Video Settings>More Effects>Notes:Metal(change to Disabled).

Hey! I looked around on the subject, and I believe the 3d notes needed updating in the Theme folder... I downloaded a revision of the notes, through the link provided on these very forums: https://www.fretsonfire.org/forums/viewt ... 1&p=578084.

With the new notes downloaded, I then copy-pasted the code from the readme, into the Theme.ini. A reboot of FoFiX, and a try of a song, and everything looked back to normal, or as it should be with the chart. You could probably paste the code itself, without the note files updated, but I figured it couldn't hurt anything.

Here's the code if you don't want to download the new files: (I'll edit it out if it's not allowed)

Code: Select all

#3d note and fret settings
threeDspin = False
twoDnote = false
twoDkeys = false

#drum notes (4, 1, 2, 3, Open)
drumnoterot1 = 5
drumnoterot2 = -5
drumnoterot3 = -2
drumnoterot4 = 2
drumnoterot5 = 0

drumnotepos1 = -0.05
drumnotepos2 = -0.05
drumnotepos3 = 0
drumnotepos4 = 0
drumnotepos5 = 0

drumkeyrot1 = 6
drumkeyrot2 = 2
drumkeyrot3 = -2
drumkeyrot4 = -6
drumkeyrot5 = 0

drumkeypos1 = 0.05
drumkeypos2 = 0
drumkeypos3 = 0
drumkeypos4 = 0.05
drumkeypos5 = 0

#guitar notes (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
noterot1 = -6
noterot2 = -3
noterot3 = 0
noterot4 = 3
noterot5 = 6

notepos1 = -0.05
notepos2 = -0.01
notepos3 = 0
notepos4 = -0.01
notepos5 = -0.05

keyrot1 = 6
keyrot2 = 3
keyrot3 = 0
keyrot4 = -3
keyrot5 = -6

keypos1 = 0.05
keypos2 = 0.01
keypos3 = 0
keypos4 = 0.01
keypos5 = 0.05

Using my first post to say this is the best theme I have witnessed ever.
