Same here...
But I've only noticed that yesterday, therefore probably one of the latest revisions screwed up our overdrive bar.

I don't think so. It's possible one of the latest revisions created a little more startup lag, but i've been having this issue since the obar_hscale was introduced.

Re: Rock Band 2 : Continues..[1.6.5] Revision 55..by [K.i.D]™
Hi!
I know everybody is excited with 3D notes but, besides of crashing the game at my end (which totally sucks), I don't like them! Call me what you want but, I'm sorry, I prefer the "normal" ones. Besides I've always thought of FoFix as a game I would be able to play at any crappy PC...if we start to add "Lots of stuff" someday I won't be able to play it anymore, but hell this has got nothing to do with this theme. Sorry for going a little off-topic.
Anyways, with the latest revision of the theme, the instruction "twoDnote = False" is present, therefore I'm forced to delete that entry in order to be able to play the game (has mentioned before it crashes). Isn't there an option in-game that allows us to choose whether or not to use the 3D notes? I've just found the "3D notes rotation" (Old or New)...didn't find the USE 3D NOTES (Yes or NO) kind of option...does it exist?
Should I be posting this on the FoFix development thread...?
Hasta!

I too, think it should be an option, not because I don't like the notes (I do) but because editing a theme.ini file, as simple as it is, is intimidating for a novice. On top of that, the great thing about open source is choice.

The layout and everything is awesome, it's really neat looking, like RB2 for your computer.
Just 1 question: Is there any way to automatically get the full RB2 setlist? or do you have to dl it?

It doesn't exist, although I imagine it's just a matter of time before they add an option in the menu to change it
For now just open theme.ini in the /theme folder and change twodnote = false to twodnote = true, don't remove the entry

I do agree that there should be an option to force 2D notes (if a theme doesn't have them, it isn't recognized as a theme, after all).
However I don't agree with Thyphus' "Lots of Stuff" problem. I actually noticed a performance improvement with the 3D notes. That's just me though.
Having said that, I can see why you'd prefer the 2D notes... They've been through a lot more iterations and are a little more... polished, I guess.

I have a few questions about the latest rev. For one what is all this lobby stuff and characters and wat not (sry i just dont wanna sift through pages upon pages to find out).
Also the 3d notes are not working, i can play fine but alls i see for notes are like black boxes with a little cross in the middle of the same color as the note. Can anyone help me please?
