Those are web browser usage statistics, and they certainly don't represent the number of jailbroken mobile Apple devices. If we can assume that 10% of all online apple devices are jailbroken, then that does mean that Android is a bigger audience. I'm not saying you shouldn't build it for iOS first, it just seems that the earlier claims were inaccurate.

I guess webstats would be inaccurate considering that the iPhone has been on the market way longer than android. Now think about the average iPhone users: social networks 24/7.

10% of iPhone users. I know that the iPod Touch users do more jailbreaking. Don't know how many though.

It's true though that it's web usage statistics.

But yeah I am going to make it for iOS first ;)

And then I'll see if it's possible on Android.

i think it might be easy in some resspects, if you work directly from source git/repos to port em,
as technically ios is a closed down osx / bsd unix
whereas android is a custom gnu/linux platform

i wouldnt suggest the apple sdk (you WILL literally be prohibited to create applications for non appstore distribution) im sure there was something about ppl making apps for cydia about this.
what about porting the osx one directly? e.g use the open iphone sdk and port thatta way? lol just trying to help

regarding the database for the songs, it literally could be a port to acccess it, (should it be an online database) or some sort of tap into the inbuilt sql ios has to use it (if its a local DB)?
its only just been viewed by my eyes, that thier doing this, but it SHOULD make things much easier.

nothing like a corrupted database when you have a lot of songs, or if you get a call (mid song) and it closes (if your going the cydia route)

oh well ,thats my thoughts on the matters at hand lol
