How do I change it? It tells me to press [BACK/SELECT] button, so I press it and nothing happens. And if I map it to "Back" I can see that if I press it in "Test controls" it highlights SELECT. But if I press it while in my setlist it goes back to folder list. WTH?

I can't do that, I don't have the option to assing a whammy to a drums type controller.

I believe the is an option on the drum controller configuration where you can change this I don't have the game in front of me at the moment, so I am only remembering from memory. Can't you use one of the buttons on the key set in the middle?

How about Options>Setlist Settings>Whammy Changes Sort Order: No, and then see if any of the other buttons controls the setlist?

K.I.D. marked it as the "(<)" button but I think that only applies to Xbox Controllers. Maybe whatever the equivalent of the select button is on your controller is what changes sort after disabling whammy(I don't remember there being an option to map a select button though).

I have an X-BOX drum set and it doesn't work with (<) button (altough it is highigted as SELECT when I assign it to "back/escape"). With "whammy changes sort order" set to OFF none of the buttons work. :/

Create another controler, like default guitar, then assign some keyboard button as the whammy. And when you wannt change order - use keboard.
